- Are my photos uploaded to your servers when I use the tools?
- No. Every tool on ltlprints.com—including the Print Size Calculator, Crop for Print tool, 4× Image Upscaler, 3D Canvas Preview, Wall Mockup, and Decal Maker—runs 100% client-side in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
- Why do standard browser downloads say 72 or 96 DPI, and how does LTL Prints fix it?
- Browsers export HTML5 canvas images with default screen metadata (72 or 96 DPI), which causes some print shops and POD uploaders to flag the file even when the pixel dimensions are huge. Our export pipeline writes the exact 300 DPI physical density into the PNG pHYs chunk and JPEG JFIF APP0 header.
- Do I really need 300 DPI for a large 24×36 canvas or wall mural?
- For handheld 4×6 or 8×10 prints viewed at 12 inches, 300 DPI is the gold standard. For stretched canvas viewed from 3–4 feet away, 150 to 200 DPI looks crisp because the woven texture softens pixel transitions. For full-wall murals viewed from across a room (6+ feet), 100 to 125 DPI is the industry norm.
- Does clicking a printer link on LTL Prints cost me extra?
- No. If an affiliate tracking link is installed for a partner (such as Printful, Easy Canvas Prints, CanvasChamp, CanvasPop, Shutterfly, Mixtiles, Society6, or Displate), any commission is paid out of the printer's margin and never increases your checkout price.
- Are you the original LTL Prints wall-graphics store from the late 2000s?
- No. An earlier business sold wall murals and decals on ltlprints.com starting around 2008. We rebuilt the domain as an independent free print-tools studio and redirecting hub so old bookmarks land on helpful sizing and mural worksheets.
- What is included in Studio Pro?
